While watching baseball is the national past time, many people prefer to play softball. No matter what part of the country you live in, there are plenty of softball leagues for adults and children. You can even find teams for all girls, boys or co-ed. One of the best places to find great games to play on is at the office. Lots of larger office’s sport their own softball team and play against rival companies or departments.
Softball is a great game and all you need to play is a glove, aluminum or wooden bat and a softball. Many people love softball, because it is easier to play than normal baseball. For one, the ball is much bigger and the pitching is done underhand. This creates more chances for people to hit the ball and for pitchers makes it is easier to pitch the ball.
One of the major attractions of softball is not the game itself, but friends and family coming together. Many softball games are stocked with lots of beer, soda and plenty of snacks. Most people come for the beer, food and friends, instead of playing.
